We have received a limited shipment of Esmeralda Farm Geisha Private Collection 2021.

From this year, Geisha is available only in the familiar "Private Collection" and "Special" grades, with the "1500" series discontinued.

The Private Collection is further divided into lineups from the three farms (plots) owned by Esmeralda.

- Jaramillo

- El Velo

- Cañas Verdes

Jaramillo is the "original" plot where this farm, which introduced Panama Geisha to the world, first planted Geisha. In contrast, El Velo is the newest plot on the farm (meaning

the trees are relatively young) and is located at a higher altitude of 1,650-1,900m.

We have imported a Geisha washed process lot from this noteworthy El Velo ahead of others.

This year, Esmeralda held their own private auction and of course placed high in the Best of Panama (Geisha Washed came in 8th, Natural in 7th). The Peterson family's "specialty"—relentless innovation and overwhelming technical prowess reminiscent of supreme artistic "works"—seems to have made their brand and presence even more prominent.

Like other regions, Panama had a low harvest this year due to various factors. But precisely because of this adversity, the farm owners of Panama showed us their passion, drive, and determination to refine quality even further, increase the value of coffee itself, maintain the livelihoods of people in the region, and overcome these difficult times.
